You might wonder what goes into putting on an event like this, and well, it’s a lot! We lost our other website about 2 weeks ago, unknowingly, and I worked pretty hard today to put this one up.
We are really really excited for Saturday. I gave a tour to a class of local elementary/middle school people today and I gave them a preview of the “Dark Alley” and they seemed to love it. So – that really made me feel good.

This year we are offering one admission price $10.00 per person over 3 and it includes a hayride tour to the pumpkin patch (pumpkins are an additional cost), the 5 activities in the Great Barn, The Dark Alley and the LIVE wizarding science show that will be put on 3x during the day by Mad Science, LLC. For additional costs guests can purchase the corn maze, unicorn rides, face painting, tarot card reading and spirit guide reading.

We have lots of brand new hand-made props, photo ops, and more. The food court will feature pizza by Panateri’s, bison burgers by RRBC, a cafe full of wonderful choices and butter-beer by the Wandering Cafe, and ice cream by Scoops On Wheels, Chinese food by Raritan Valley Chinese School and a special pork sandwich by Howell’s Cafe.

Entertainment – yep we’ve got that too! Mr. Love Joy will performing all day (almost) and dj’ing in between sets. I have been to several parties this fun band has played at, and was never disappointed. Raritan Valley Chinese School will also perform a dance.

Beverages? Yes – We have the butter-beer at the wandering cafe, they are making their own custom recipe and we also have BEER. We are very pleased to have Conclave Brewing from Raritan Twp. on our side. They have brewed a custom coconut stout just for our event. Using over 50 lbs of coconut!! Felix Felicis, oatmeal stout will be available for purchase in the Saloon for our guests over 21. We will also be offering beer brewed by Flounder Brewing of Hillsborough, NJ. They are bringing a vanilla porter, pumpkin beer and their best IPA!! The best part about the beer? ALL proceeds from the beer will benefit Whitehouse Station Fire Company. ABC permit number 75187. We are very lucky to have Conclave, Flounder and Whitehouse Fire as partners for this event!

AND we have about 20 craft vendors offering hand-made wizardly themed goods for you to peruse and purchase. These vendors will include hand spun wools, hand sewed pillows, engraved boxes, magical wands, candles, potion bottles, dragon eggs, ornaments, jewelry, ceramics, vacation planning, journals, fantasy art posters & t-shirts, soaps, and more!
